About the event

Shenandoah National Park offers many wilderness and pastoral landscapes underpinned by narratives from more than 300 years of history. Located between the Shenandoah Valley in the west and the Piedmont region in the east, the park is an expanse of wooden ravines and breezy summits, waterfalls, and mountain streams, more than 500 miles of hiking trails, and nearly 80,000 acres of designated wilderness—all just 75 miles from Washington, D.C.

Itenary:

8:30 AM Pick-Up: Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan

2700 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008

11:00 AM Arrival at Rose River TrailHead (Near 51 Skyline Drive, Stanley, VA)

2:00 PM Lunch Break (lunch not provided).

Wellness Journaling Activity Led by Black Eudaimonia leader.

4:00 PM STRICT - BACK ON BUS (driver will wait near location)

6:30 PM Arrival back to Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan
